Desert Ghost is an extremely popular recessive trait among ball python breeders, and for good reason! This pattern altering and color brightening gene does really cool things when added to pied.

Holdback orange dream het desert ghost pied female. This hatchling shed-tested positive for orange dream, proving that the sire was OD. This was not known at the time I purchased him.

About This Project

My desert ghost project is primarily focused on making desert ghost pieds with orange dream and super orange dream, along with pastel and some other traits in the future. Clown is a possibility, and I have a clown pied male that I am raising up for this purpose in several projects. When it comes to ball pythons, like all my snake breeding groups I focus on what I like and what is the most interesting visually to me. While there are many dozens of popular mutations of ball pythons, I think that desert ghost pieds are among the most attractive and have it all over some of the more expensive but less contrasting forms. My son Dan from legacybreeders.net also has some very nice DG pied breeders and offspring, and no doubt we will be working together on this project.
