Please read this page carefully before making a purchase. The following rules apply to all sales and override any other policies including Morph Market default store policies. These rules will be used to arbitrate any issues that may arise between Greg Maxwell Reptiles and buyers. My goal is (and always has been) complete satisfaction for you and I will work on a case-by-case basis to resolve any problems.
Payment Methods and Sales Policies
Cash is king, and I also accept Zelle, Venmo, Credit Cards via Square, the Square Cash app, Paypal friends and family, and certified checks/ money orders. If you have received a discount on any purchase, such as the “Make Offer” button on certain MorphMarket animals, I will ask that you cover any fees associated with payment, such as Paypal or Venmo fees.
I can arrange payment plans for certain animals. A non-refundable 20% deposit is required to reserve an animal, and full payment must be received by the end of the agreement which is typically 30-90 days.
All sales are final. All deposits and payments are non-refundable. Customers who fail to complete their payment plan within the agreed time frame forfeit their hold on the animal and any payments made.
Shipping
I ship via FedEx Priority Overnight, hub to hub. With rare exceptions I do not ship to residential addresses. You must provide me with the address of the nearest FedEx Ship Center where the animal will be held for pickup. In order to avoid delays and weekends, I only ship on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Shipping is contingent on weather conditions in Ohio, FedEx transfer locations (typically Memphis or Indianapolis), and the destination. I reserve the right to delay shipping until conditions are deemed safe by me for the animal. Currently I am using Morph Market’s FedEx shipping service, as it is the most affordable.
Important! Animals must be picked up within eight hours of arrival to a FedEx Ship Center, or immediately in the case of residential delivery. Failure to do so will void my live arrival guarantee. Tracking timestamp will be used to determine arrival time, combined with prompt communication from you that the package and animal have arrived safely. I consider prompt communication from you to be mandatory. If I do not hear from you as soon as you have the animal in your possession, I will assume all is well and that no claims for loss or damage will be made. In this age of easy and instant communication, I consider it to be inexcusable to wait for hours to notify me of safe arrival.
Guarantees
Health: I guarantee live and healthy arrival of my animals. My number one priority is your satisfaction and a thriving animal. Any illness or death must be reported with 48 hours of arrival to qualify for a full refund or replacement. Because I have no control over how the animal is kept, health claims beyond this window are not guaranteed and will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. In most cases I have raised the parents of your hatchling since they were very young, and I have spent months cycling, breeding, incubating eggs, and establishing hatchlings. I only sell well-started robust babies and I will always be available to help you with any questions or issues.
Sex: I guarantee that all my hatchlings are correctly sexed. Even very experienced breeders can make mistakes, so I check animals multiple times to reduce the possibility of this. It is your responsibility to verify the sex of your new animal within 7 days of arrival for a resolution. No exchanges or compensation will be made for sexing errors beyond 7 days.
Genetics: As anyone familiar with Ball python breeding knows, determining morph ID for many animals can challenging and inexact. I guarantee recessive traits (homozygous and heterozygous) fully. Incomplete dominant traits are only guaranteed when stated as verified via DNA shed testing or breeding. I do strive to correctly ID all known and possible traits in my Ball pythons, based on parents, comparing hatchlings within a clutch, and consulting with other experienced breeders. All my listings include morph ID’s for both parents.
Any traits/ mutations in parenthesis are considered “possible” and cannot be verified or excluded based on visual identification.
